Pestilent Protrusions - Gertrude Street Projections Festival 2014

Posted by John Jacob at

The work of Victoria University's own Skunk Control, a group of engineers and educators from the College of Engineering and Science, has won the People's Choice Award and received high commendation in the Critics Award at the 2014 Gertrude Street Projection Festival.

Mass Energy assisted Simon Roberts (Victoria University) in sourcing appropriate LED strip lighting for the display.

The temporary nature of the installation meant wattage restrictions - so we had to find lighting that had high enough lumens per watt to provide the required level of brightness, and that fell within budget.

The lights from the 2014 display will be recycled and re-used for the display for 2015.

To see a video of this fantastic display visit the Skunk Control website.
